Minimum NLP Training Standards
The ABNLP has set the following a minimum requirements in NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Trainer Certification. If you are a potential student of NLP, we suggest you ensure your trainer adheres to these guidelines of content and classroom time required. As a minimum, if you are looking for an NLP trainer, we recommend you use the same criteria we do for qualifying trainers with the ABNLP.
1. Who did the Trainer study with? The trainers own training needs to meet the ABNLP standards before qualifying as a recognised trainer.
2. Duration of their training course? (ABNLP requires a minimum of: Practitioner Training = 7 days, Master Practitioner Training = 9 days, Trainers Certification = 14 days).
3. Does their course meet the syllabus requirements below?
We have also put together a guide to help you choose your NLP Trainer. It is after all, an important decision.
If you are seeking membership with the ABNLP we may ask for a syllabus from your trainer if they are unknown by the ABNLP. We will utilise the syllabus to ensure the criteria outlined below was taught in your training over no less than the minimum amount of time specified in each NLP Certification level.
These standards were created based on much research of various NLP courses throughout the world. We feel a minimum training standard is applicable due to the numerous courses available and the potential for low standards of NLP being taught. The following information contains the minimum training standards required for membership in the ABNLP:
